TVS Motor Company Reports 31% Increase in Sales for November

TVS Motor Company has announced a notable 31% increase in total dispatches, reaching 3,64,231 units in November 2023. This significant rise marks a substantial improvement from the 2,77,123 units sold in November 2022, as revealed by TVS Motor Company in a recent statement.

Two-Wheeler Sales Surge

The company’s two-wheeler segment witnessed robust growth, with sales soaring to 3,52,103 units in November 2023 compared to 2,63,642 units in the same month last year, representing a remarkable 34% increase. Within this segment, domestic two-wheeler sales experienced an even more substantial surge, rising by 50% to 2,87,017 units in November 2023 from 1,91,730 units in November 2022.

Segment-Wise Performance

  • Motorcycle Segment: TVS Motor Co reported a 19% growth in motorcycle sales, with 1,72,836 units sold last month compared to 1,45,006 units in November 2022.
  • Scooter Segment: The scooter segment witnessed a significant jump of 62%, clocking 1,35,749 units compared to 83,679 units in the year-ago period.

Electric Scooter Sales

TVS Motor Co also highlighted the success of its iQube electric scooter, with sales reaching 16,782 units in November 2023, a notable increase from the 10,056 units sold a year ago.

Three-Wheeler Segment and Exports

In the three-wheeler segment, sales stood at 12,128 units last month compared to 13,481 units in November 2022. However, total exports saw a slight decline, with 75,203 units shipped in November 2023 compared to 84,134 units in the corresponding month last year.

The surge in sales across various segments reflects TVS Motor Company’s continued growth trajectory and strong performance in the market. The robust increase in two-wheeler sales, particularly in the domestic market, coupled with the success of their electric scooter, demonstrates the brand’s ability to meet consumer demands and maintain a competitive edge in the industry.
